People always hear about the French Revolution (a moment in history i have a keen interest in), but few have a way to look at it through the eyes of the people who actually lived through it. Charles Dickinson gave us that. A story that centers between two cities London and Paris. I found this really hard going. The language and the backward and forward movement tot the tale without really getting anywhere until the last few percent of the pages. It was difficult to keep track and far from a riveting read
