The Red Tent by Anita Diamant is a compelling tale with a biblical setting. The heroine Dinah is a little mention character in the Bible. Dinah is Jacob's daughter and Joseph's sister. This book was a creative and fictionalized version of biblical character Dinah. Dinah is born to Leah and Jacob and is raised by four “mothers”, all Jacob's wives who also happen to be sisters.
