not my cup of tea but i listened to the audio edition which was available from my library and it was brilliantly read by the author himself. I would class it as entirely a children's book not really for the adult or really the young adult market - it is too simplistic

I absolutely loved this little story, I finished it in a day because it is so easy to read. I found Coraline a fascinating character and even though I am 23yrs old, I found this book quite scary, if I was a child I could imagine I would have nightmares.
Neil Gaiman is such a wonderful storyteller, I found the style of writing quite poetic and it helped it run along so smoothly. I am now determined to read more by him because I enjoyed the style he writes in. I have already got Stardust and I am ...more

I bought this book this summer, with intention of reading it right away. but I got sidetracked.
anyways, finally I picked up the book and read it. This my second book that I have read by Neil Gaiman, both childrens book's, but I enjoyed them very much.
He is such a wonderful writter, it just makes me want to go out and buy and read all of his books.
