All Coraline could do was explore her new house, it was an old house but they had just moved in and she wanted to know what everything was and where every door went. Finding a brick wall behind the door in one of the rooms just made her more curious. Looking behind the door a second time, Coraline found a long hall and since she was exploring, she followed it to another house that looked a lot like her own. not my cup of tea but i listened to the audio edition which was available from my library and it was brilliantly read by the author himself. I would class it as entirely a children's book not really for the adult or really the young adult market - it is too simplistic ...more

I absolutely loved this little story, I finished it in a day because it is so easy to read. I found Coraline a fascinating character and even though I am 23yrs old, I found this book quite scary, if I was a child I could imagine I would have nightmares.

Neil Gaiman is such a wonderful storyteller, I found the style of writing quite poetic and it helped it run along so smoothly. I am now determined to read more by him because I enjoyed the style he writes in. I have already got Stardust and I am

I bought this book this summer, with intention of reading it right away. but I got sidetracked.

anyways, finally I picked up the book and read it. This my second book that I have read by Neil Gaiman, both childrens book's, but I enjoyed them very much.

He is such a wonderful writter, it just makes me want to go out and buy and read all of his books.
