Tristran Thorn, being half-faery himself but ignorant of it, goes into the other world on a quest to bring back a fallen star.
I enjoyed this little faery tale. The world created is a lot like that of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - perhaps slightly gentler but still with its fair share of violence, and much shorter, of course.

Ehh I really think this could have been great if he would've been just a little bit more descriptive and actually gave the characters, I don't know let's say, character? The characters didn't have any depth what so ever and the one that lacks it the most is the main character. I would've liked a more painted setting and to have read more about their adventures back to Wall. He really just blows through this book and that's not what I'm wanting when I read high fantasy.

I think this is my favorite, so far, but I'm not sure if I want to bump the rating to 5 or leave it at 4 (it's definitely a 4.5, but I need to sit with it a while before deciding on the final whole star rating).
