What Members Thought

This book really stuck with me. I read it first in high school, and remember just getting in this zone where I gave over to the slang until it started making sense, and felt so disturbed that I had any understanding of Alex.
Funny story, unrelated, I once had a dream about a Clockwork Orange musical, where everyone was dressed in black and white striped tank tops and smoking against graffiti covered walls. It turns out that someone tried that once (U2).

For me this book was difficult due to the violence, not the vernacular. You just dive into the book and decipher the words from the context of each sentence.

I'll have to trust him on this because I can't get past the BS. I know I'm quick to give up on books that don't appeal to me, but I'll dare to believe reading it wouldn't have made me a better person, only a more tolerant reader.

Gory and dare I say, poetic. A must read...but be prepared for senseless acts of extreme violence.
