This is an unusual story. It is well written and memorable. Good read!
For me a great novel has interesting characters and a plot where those characters get to play out an absorbing story. In Tomorrow X3, Zevin as done just that. It began with a hurdle for me. I have no interest in video games, my kids dabbled in high school but were not obsessed like some of their friends, so the main conceit of the novel forestalled my getting started.
