Whatever you do, don't look for a synopsis of this book before you begin; instead,let the writing unfold the story and the characters for you.
I can't believe I only found Morrison a month ago but perhaps this was just serendipity - I am now ready for the depth of her writing. It isn't a quick and easy read, the story doesn't unfold in a linear fashion nor do her characters.
