In the aftermath of a heinous incident in a horrible war, a cellist in his simple way makes a heroic, eloquent gesture to reaffirm the nobility of man at his best.
A very interesting study in style. Some characters are known only by descriptives - 'Arrow'- the huntress, 'the Cellist', 'the Assassin' These characters often have a certain nobility regardless of their place in the story. They rise above the everyday.

Thought it would be nice to read a book written by someone who is from my home town.
The cellist was described nicely-or rather what the cellist created.
And the war torn city what I imagined it would have been like.
There are moments of real music in these pages.
That makes it worthwhile reading to me. Glad to see that a gifted person lives in the city of New Westminster.
