I already knew I would enjoy this series before I started it. There are just some authors that click for me, and Halle is one of them. And this is a darker, grittier, and yet more realistic side of Karina Halle than her Experiment in Terror series. But no less exciting, just different.

Karina Halle is one of my favorite authors and the conclusion to this series was one the most anticipated books of the year for me. I couldn't help wondering how she would end it all. I'm a bit disappointed.
I expected more. I felt as if the characters we met in this final book were the total opposites of the characters in book one. An incredible end to a truly unique series. I am so sad that it's all over, but I loved every step of the journey!
The best thing about this book was definitely the ending. That Epilogue was absolute perfection. I loved it.
It was action packed from start to finish.

Awwww, it's over.
Wow, this book takes off where the last one ended. And boy did it take off! Action from the get go and really never stopped.
A little sad that this was the end, but really had no idea how it would end. What a ride! I'm sure there is still story out there, but I liked where this ended.
