Can't....form....a... Coherent sentence right now. Will do a review soon after my tears stop rolling down my cheeks in an endlessly flowing river.

Warning!: This book is NOT for the faint-hearted. Those who read this book must be prepared to be emotionally scarred by it and to cry their eyeballs out of their sockets. If you are prepared for hours of puffy and red eyes, do proceed and read this tear-jerker of a book.
This is me after I finish reading The Fault in Our Stars.

God. I just. I can't. *breaks down in sobs*
Not sure when I'll have it in me to write a review. I'm seriously broken. ...more

I admit I got swept up into the hype with this book, I try my best to keep an open mind and a balanced opinion when a book becomes massively popular and so with this review I will be giving my honest opinion whilst ignoring the numerous glowing reviews I have read.
I must say that I really enjoyed this book (that's if you can say 'enjoy' when reading a book about Cancer) and I found myself thinking about it constantly after I finished reading. I went to sleep thinking about it and I woke up thin ...more

Hazel Grace and Augustus are teen cancer patients who meet at a support group for cancer survivors. Hazel Grace's lungs are so poor that she walks with an oxygen tank and nasal cannula during the day and has to sleep hooked up to a machine that drains fluid from her lungs and helps her to breathe at night. Augustus has lost his leg to cancer. His best friend, Isaac, lost his eyesight to cancer. I loved the character of Hazel Grace. The literary teen role model police might have some issues with

There are books that make us laugh. There are books that take us away to wonderful places only imagined and dreamed about. Ones that take us out of our comfort zones and those that scare the pants off us. Then there are those that are so real to the world around us that we cannot help but cry and break and inevitably, feel. This is one of those books.
I put off reading this book because I thought I knew how it ended. I thought that that knowledge would brin ...more

I have been avoiding reading this book for years, because I feel like I could go either way on this book (and his other books tbh). I will either love this book or I am going to hate it with the intensity of a thousand suns.
Feeling this way normally doesn't make me feel bad, its weird. I guess when this fandom makes the twilight fandom seems rational (granted all fandoms have their rabid fans and their more rational fans). I don't want to hate this book and incur the wrath of teenagers (I reall ...more

A lady approached me on a parc bench today and asked why I was crying.
I pointed at the book.
"Really," she said, "a book is making you cry?"
"Yes," I told her. "I challenge anyone to read this book and not shed a tear." ...more

This book was fantistic. From page one to the last page I couldn't stop reading. John Green is an excellent writer and I will be checking out his other books. This was a heart felt love/friendship between two 16 year old cancer patients. If you think this would be a deprssing book you are wrong. I felt myself smiling through 90% of the book. I highly recomment it!!!
