I never did write a review as such for this book - it had a profound effect on me and I read it at a time when I had a friend fighting cancer. It taught me a lot and I took so much away from it.
Although this book broke my heart it was also helped me at the time to deal with my friends illness and later gave me the strength to help me grieve through her passing in December last year.

I have been avoiding reading this book for years, because I feel like I could go either way on this book (and his other books tbh). I will either love this book or I am going to hate it with the intensity of a thousand suns.

The Fault in Our Stars will make you cry. It will make you laugh. It will make you laugh and cry at the same time. I can not come up with any new words, sentences or thoughts that other reviews have not stated to describe how stupendous this book was.

Hands down, this is one of the best books I've read this year. It was so sad I cried so hard yet it was funny and adorable and smart. John green just officially became a favorite author!
