I'm a disturbed hopeless romantic type and ultimately this one sunk me. I could not put this book down to save my life. I felt like I NEEDED to know what happened so I plowed through this book rather quickly but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Call it disturbing if you may when I say enjoy, I don't mean it quite the way it sounds. There were plenty of times in this book that were down right awful but I think that's what makes it so compelling.
