Edit 10/14: I am upping this rating from an original 3.5 stars to 4.5 stars. And the reason is this: the more I think about this book---that I read back in July---the more I CANNOT forget it. Yes, some of the scenes are rather, um, disturbing. But this story has stayed with me, which is always a sign that the book was overall-amazing.

This was by far one of the BEST stories EVER!!!!!! I loved it from the beginning to the middle and to the end, though at the end I just wanted more of the story. I wanted it to go on and on!! It's so dark and twisted and yet it felt so new and refreshing. It wasn't like a retold story we've all heard before, no it was action packed and action in every sense ;) I highly, HIGHLY recommend this as your next read!!! You won't be sorry one bit!! I'm having a tough time rating this book. I liked the first half, but then it just seemed to drag the last half. I felt no emotional connection to the characters and that always ruins a book for me if I don't feel.
There was a lot of repetitiveness in the monologue. I feel that if the reader already knows what the character is feeling and thinking, then the author did her job. No need to repeat it over and over. I got it the first time.

I loved this story up until the 70% mark. I just don't know How i feel about the ending. It wasn't rushed, but it felt like it was missing something. Maybe more passion between the two? Maybe more character development and or relationship building? I really can't put my finger on it at this point. Review to come.
