I must say I really enjoyed this one. Only book 2 so we have a long journey to take.

Rhage was great, was built like a monster but was a puppy in reality.

The only thing I can’t handle is your leaving

I loved HIS love for Mary. How he wasn’t afraid to shed tears.

This one was sad in parts, funny in parts, romantic in parts, scary in parts.

WOW.
This series. OMG. Just when I think J.R. Ward can't throw anything else at you, she does!! Instead of the hero/heroine plot, this book focuses on the romance between Rhage and Mary. They are so cute together!! Who would think Hollywood would quit the bachelor life. They really lacked communication, you have Rhage who will do anything to protect her and you have Mary who tries to do everything to keep from falling in love with him. Loved it!

So this is the second book in the BDB series. The main story centers around Rhage/The Beast and Mary’s relationship. But we also get glimpses of other stories for some of the other characters.

Loved Mary and Rhage’s love story. Sort of like a Beauty & the Beast tale. Yes, Mary really got on my nerves at the beginning and I kept asking why would Rhage kept approaching her.
