Ok so this book was me venturing into my a genre that is not my usual. I was a huge fan of Twilight several years ago and honestly, I still am. That was my first experience with anything even remotely paranormal and after Twilight I read several other paranormal series and besides the Sookie Stackhouse books I wasn't a fan of any of them and it turned me off from vampires and the such.
