I don't even have the words to explain the variety of emotions this book brought out in me. I was terrified, humored, full of love, and a lot of the time pissed off. This was by far the scariest that I've read yet, and I know it isn't going to remain that way.

An island that used to house lepers. Rumored with stories of hauntings and horror stories of people visiting the island only to be anchored because their ship would un-dock because of the high tides and ripping waves. Of course this is going to be Dex and Perry's next stop!

All of the feelings that were starting to creep out in the previous two books have decided to take a dose of "intense" with this installment. The terror is definitely present now and it only gets deeper!

I have to say so far this was by far the scariest ïnstallment in this series! Like I did dream about this book after I finished it...I was glad that some things were revealed but it was like pulling teeth with these two!! I hope I never get stuck on an island like this one.. Terrifying doesn't even begin to cover it. Finally we are getting more out of Dex too. He is like a locked up in steel and concrete book!He is closed up that tight! But I am glad Perry seems to be chipping away at his defens ...more

Another great one! I had read several places that this one as the scariest so far. I'm not sure i think that. It was Super intense and made me sit on the edge of my seat! I feel like dex and perry went through so much in this story. I have a ton of questions and theories and I can't wait to find out more about dexs past and what's going on with perry. OMG! This series has me hooked!

In this book, Dex and Perry go off for the weekend to tape their next show on D’Arcy island off Vancouver, which used to be a leper colony. The book its very scary and suspenseful. You also learn a bit more about Dex and Perry and their past. There is so much more to these characters and as you read into this series each book tells you a bit more about each of them and their past. So its not only about the scary parts.
