This was an interesting book about an unconventional, forbidden love
in the ageless war between good and evil. I loved the story of Serah
and Luce
.
I think J.M. Darhower has created a fascinating world that I want to read more of. I wish this book was longer; it went by way too quickly. I need more answers and I need more of Serah and Luce. This was a very good, quick read. I would recommend this one!

This was an interesting book about an unconventional, forbidden love

I am really sure how I want to rate this. I liked the book but wasn't completely thrilled about the ending. I thought that the sacrifice Satan made, once at the gate and once in the middle of the street, we're endearing. I had mixed feeling about Michael. He made up for a little bit in the street. I guess I have to give it 3.5 stars. If I liked the ending better it would have gotten a solid 4 stars.
