Probably someday I will share the same opinion as the rest of the world; today is not that day. Before legions of Mistborn fans jump down my throat, let me preface this review by saying that I enjoyed The Final Empire. Quite a lot, actually. As my first Sanderson novel, I went into this with hiiiigh expectations and the world-building did not disappoint in the least. The world Sanderson has created is intensely unique and creative, the pacing of information reveal ideal, and the story leaves you ...more

Amazing read!

It was a great adventure, I really loved it. I have spent a week in that world and was completely immersed in the story.

Intelligent plot, unpredictable, great humour, great main characters' development, great action, I mean it's all in there!

Now I've just finished the book and

The story is set in a world where ash perpetually falls from the sky with a land devoid of any greenery . The soc

I failed to see what all the fuss is about .......

the only thing I found intriguing about this book was the epigraphs from the lord rulers journal. I wish the book was about that the whole journey he took just everything about that journal.
