Probably someday I will share the same opinion as the rest of the world; today is not that day. Before legions of Mistborn fans jump down my throat, let me preface this review by saying that I enjoyed The Final Empire. Quite a lot, actually. As my first Sanderson novel, I went into this with hiiiigh expectations and the world-building did not disappoint in the least. The world Sanderson has created is intensely unique and creative, the pacing of information reveal ideal, and the story leaves you

The Goodreads blurb is huge so if you want an idea on what its about check it out. I’m going right to my feelings.
First off I usually have to get into Fantasy mode for high fantasy books but this one sucked me right in. There is a lot of world building but the author kind of threw it at you and then spoon fed it to you later. I loved the pace of the book and I NEVER got bored of it. Amazing read!
It was a great adventure, I really loved it. I have spent a week in that world and was completely immersed in the story.

I failed to see what all the fuss is about .......
the only thing I found intriguing about this book was the epigraphs from the lord rulers journal. I wish the book was about that the whole journey he took just everything about that journal.
