True Love Story in Buddy Read Zone

OMG! This book has left me speechless (well almost, but I'm going to ramble and gush anyways :) ) It's always hard to write a good review when a book is soooooo good. This book is amazing and all lovers of Young Adult, New Adult, and Contemporary Romance should make this their absolute next read. I will be pimping this book all year.. I can't say enough about it. As you can read from the synopsis this book is about a couple and their relationship over a 5 year span. The first chapter is present OMG! This book is amazing and all lovers of Young Adult, New Adult, and Contemporary Romance should make this their absolute next read. I will be pimping this book all year.. I can't say enough about it. As you can read from the synopsis this book is about a couple and their relationship over a 5 year span. The first chapter is present day and it immediately lets you know that the couple is not together and that Ian has done something terrible to destroy this relationship and then it takes you through their entire relationship.

This book had the intensity and flawless writing of Tarryn Fisher and the humor and fun of Colleen Hoover (2 of my favs). The characters are fantastic. This may be one of the few books that I like the female lead as much as the male. Sparrow is the type of girl everyone can love and relate to and Ian Sterling.... as flawed as he is all I can say is yuummm! These characters are so unique in that they are so real and relatable. They are both full of quirks and I just couldn't get enough of them. And there is also Sparrow's best friend Tessa.. she's just as loveable and the kind of friend everyone needs if they don't already have one. I'm lucky to have my own Tessa which made me love her all that much more. :)

Sparrow and Ian's love story starts at fast, but then slows and this author creates this epic love story that allows you to feel and fall in love right along with the characters. To say I was emotionally invested in this book is an understatement. I LIVED in this book while I read it! I will admit I had knots in my stomach most of the book though because I was so emotionally invested and the whole time I knew this bomb was going to be dropped to break this beautiful relationship apart. At times my cheeks hurt from grinning so much and then at others my heart hurt so much from breaking... but it was all worth it. Ahhhhhh!!!! Amazing read.. can't say it enough! It's the kind of book you almost wish was a cliffhanger so you would be promised more time with this lovely duo lol! All I can say is that I feel sorry for the next book I read because it will not get a fair chance after reading this book.

This is Ms. Aster's first book (WOW) so there isn't a lot of information out there about her. I'm intrigued to learn more about her because I have a feeling that there was some truth in the title of this book. This isn't like other rock star books and I can't help feeling that Ms. Aster (if that's her real name lol) lived a bit of this book herself.

In the mean time while I'm looking for my next fix I'll be stalking Ms. Aster's blog hoping and praying she will publish something else soon!

I’ve had this book on my Kindle for years and never got around to reading it. However, I’m doing a scavenger hunt and this one filled a spot. I’m SO glad it did. What a beautiful story of redemption that proves love conquers all. I LOVED the faith aspect of the book. That was one of my favorite parts. You don’t see that enough in contemporary romance unfortunately. It’s usually the opposite.

I just don't even know how to rate this one. I am BROKEN from this book. I rate a little different than some people when it comes to books like this one. Usually if it makes me feel like this one did, if it rips my heart out like this one for sure did then I give it a high rating. But I just don't know if I can. It hurts that much.

For warning for those that need to know it has cheating. I am sure I could review it somehow without mentioning it, but I just feel like it is important.

This book follows the up and down relationship with Sparrow and Ian. Right from the beginning I was sucked in. But I never thought it would affect me the way it did. I loved Ian, until I just didn't. Okay that is a lie, I still love him, but my heart is broken. This is where it gets tricky for me. My heart breaks for Sparrow, her pain is my own. I know what that feels like. Your heart is ripped out and put through a blender. Breathing everyday just hurts. But it pains me and I really mean pains me, to say I know how Ian feels too. So I went into this story knowing this was going to happen, I had read previous reviews and saw the warnings. But I thought maybe, just maybe, I could get over it. (view spoiler) But as I sit here I just don't know. Yep, I realize how silly this sounds. It wasn't my heart broken it was Sparrow's but STILL! Am I happy with the way things ended? Yes. A lot of people don't believe a person can change, but I call bullshit. IF a person wants to change they can. Even though Sparrow and Ian's story hurts, I do think it is a True Love Story. You know not everyone's happily ever after was easy. Some people struggled in the beginning to get where they are now. Sometimes you just have to let love be enough. Not everything can be beautiful.

Love is enough.Love does conquer all.Love really does always protect, trust, hope, persevere... I'd even go as far as saying that love never fails. ...more

I feel thoroughly worn and exhausted after devouring this book! I loved every single second of it and couldn’t put it down. It was such a beautiful and highly realistic love story. It takes place over several years and tells the simple tale of boy meets girl, boy and girl fall in love and boy fucks up monumentally. This book is not a happy, flowers and rainbows kind of story, which is somewhat ironic because it is a happy, flowers and rainbows kind of story. My heart hurt reading this book, which means it made me feel real emotions. Happiness and joy, sadness and regret, this was a full spectrum kind of love story.

I loved this book!!!! this book was fantastic such a great love story n I loved how it all worked out for ian n sparrow in the end xxx ian was so sweet and lovin bt he was a lil naughty then went bak to bein loving again xxxx
