This book infuriated me. I so wanted to love it; rock'n'roll gods and MC's who were in puppy love as children and then light a fire when they are adults is a trope that works for me. Essentially, that is the story here.

Loved this book!!

Jake and Trudy... they were just meant to be. Although they had such a long seperation you can almost feel the sexual tension at their first meeting. Regardless of Jake being the ultimate rock star Trudy is still able to remember the love and friendship they shared as children and when he gives her the opportunity of a lifetime how do you not fall in love with the guy.

I mean, of course I don't love him - love him. I just used to love him when I was younger.

I so enjoyed this book. I loved Jake and I ached for his addiction. Seeing someone you love suffer is heart breaking and frustrating. I loved how he lost his cool and was jealous over her boyfriend. I mean usually it is the girl who wants the guy to commit and is afraid of a one niter. Seeing a guy get frustrated with the possibility of a one night stand was refreshing. I also loved Tru. 5+ stars hands down!
I love Jake and Tru's relationship, how after all these years they could just fall back to where they were 12 years ago.
But, of course nothing is ever perfect!
This is a great read, heart wrenching with a bonus of hot sex scenes with rock god jake wethers heh..
I could without the Will part tho, don't get me wrong I love how sweet and thoughtful he is but I just didn't like the fact there was a third person thing going on for a bit. Especially when Tru took her time to tell ...more
