I read this a few years ago in Russian. At the time, I had no idea that the author wrote this in English first and it was translated into Russian later.
This was me throughout most of this book/story:
(I guess it was a good thing because I was on a transatlantic flight and needed help falling asleep)
I am not going to rate this. Just because this particular book/story/author didn't do it for me, doesn't mean it deserves a bad rating.
Do I consider this 'an epic love story'? No. I've read better.

This review is going to be disappointing to write. I hear a lot of hype on this book and I know its part of Aesta's Book Blog's favorite series. I usually follow her recommendations since she is very truthful. However, after finishing the book, I realized my heart wasn't in it.
First off, the writing was phenomenal. Paullina Simons is an extremely talented writer and this writing is some of the best I have seen. Which is why this was so disappointing to me on why this was 3.5 stars ...more
