"Sometimes when people pigeonhole you, you end up being the pigeon."

Well I certainly can't think of this book as that pigeon, that's for sure.

I've finally caved in because all the cool kids in my feed have read this and have urged me to eff the cliffhanger ending and just jump in, the water is fine.

So expectations were high and with the frustrating string of reads I've been having, the disappointment potential was even higher. But boy did this one deliver. Though, I must say, any b

Very unique storyline and great writing! I REALLY enjoyed the steamy parts, but found it hard to connect with Ellie and Camden, in general. They had very few redeeming qualities. Sure, they were raised by awful people. But as adults, they didn't seem to form much of a conscience when hurting other people. They felt bad each time, but they still did it and kept doing it! Trying to decide whether I will read the next book when it comes out. I kind of want to know what happens to Ellie. :-/

This very well written book about grifting and drug cartels will keep you spellbound every turn. Packed with lies and deceit and a love that transpires in a way that is unexpected, as a reader this was a killer book! Totally enjoyed every aspect of it and cannot wait to read the next installment!!

About that...

I didn't finish it. I read half of the book before I called it quits. Camden was too emo and moronic, and Ellie wasn't believable as a smooth criminal. I didn't even care that they screwed over one another. It was predictable at best, but I have better things to do with my time than force myself to read this story. I tried my best, but it's been over a month and I jus

"Spite was the fuel to right all your wrongs. And like any fuel, it could consume you.”

I have sat down on three different occasions to put together a review for this book, and I can't put into words my exact thoughts. Every once in awhile I will read a book that will literally render me speechless. That's this book. This book won me over in many ways. The plot twists, character development, the flow of past to present, the one liners that left me bookmarking almost every page. Prior to reading,

To start this review I will say I dreaded to read this story until about 8%...and then I got sucked into their story!! The angst of connections, drama, and love tore me apart and had me wanting more the rest of the way! Cam is a hot piece of man that has a past with Ellie. Whether it is revenge, lust, or denial of love they battle their demons that lead us to one hell of a cliffhanger.

Can't wait for book2!

Uuggghhhh! This book was crazy! I really shouldn't be writing a review right now as I feel it needs to settle some with me. It was sad! It freaked me out! I have to read more! I need to know! Damm Karina, what a thing to do to a reader! I will write more next week after I've calmed down. I will say it was a great read. Definitely right up my alley (that's the back alley for all you in the know...) ...more

Excellent read! The plot and the characterizations were very good. I am glad I read On Every Street first, as it helped me to like/understand Ellie/Eden right from the start. The pacing and flow kept me reading. I definitely recommend!
