I went into this book completely blind. I had no idea what was coming and I was really pleasantly surprised.
This was my first book by Karina Halle, but it definitely won't be my last.
The storyline is like nothing I have ever read before. There are really strong characters and an even better, original storyline.

This was brilliant ! A super thriller, runaway con artist romance with tons of angst and chills and goosebumps and magic slipping its way into your mind. I don't know what more to add in words. Just refer to my review of On every street - the prequel and multiply by 1000 and subtract 50 percent Javier and add a double scoop of enigmatic mysterious magnetic Camden and you have Ellie white in a big hot soup

Not what I was expecting and in a completely good way! Very suspenseful and action packed with a hell of a cliffhanger! A great series that everyone should read! Would make a fantastic movie!
