The Sandman was the most unintelligent anti-hero ever. Run into danger, get hurt, do it again with more anger. Everyone in the story was an asshole, asshat, or an ass. I wasn't feeling this story. A lot of the characters had the same voice! Even steal-your-soul Lucifer was all hey, can I borrow that. This read also over-dosed on sarcasm.

Not for me. I'd recommend Chuck Wendig's The Blue Blazes over this anytime. Chuck's anti-hero had heart and the world building was better.

Ugghh here we go. This was barely a 3 and here I go with the disclaimer againnn! 3 is about the lowest I do too. Which means I finished it and didn't hate it. I don't do 1's and 2's because if I'm hating a book that much I just bail and I don't rate books that I bail on.

This book seemed to drag on F-O-R-E-V-E-R!

It wasn't until the last 25% of the book that it finally started to make sense and at that point I was so far removed from it, that I was just reading it to get it over with it. Will I read the next one to find out what Slim and Kasabian do next...
