Honestly, I almost never read historical romance. It just doesn’t interest me as much as contemporary does. I saw this on my libraries page and it had been recommended to me in the past, so I picked up the audiobook. I’m so glad I did. This book was fantastic and I loved it so much!

This is one of the books on Goodreads that is sort of a "must-read" - it has been on my radar for ages and I eventually decided to start it. Honestly, I feel like a total heathen and heartless bitch for not liking it. I must have rolled my eyes dozens of times while reading it. So cheesy, so preachy. Redeeming Love is one of the most phenomenally engaging stories that I have ever read.

Francine Rivers has written an incredibly enchanting story about love and loss; about learning to find your way back from the depths of hell. It was a profoundly compelling experience. One that I will not soon forget.
