Jenny: We can never get enough of MMA book with a tortured hero can we Gitte? But what I found with this one was that there was a twist with regard to the MC which I found quite different and, as sad as that was, I enjoyed that this delved a little further than being a romance. Remy was at the heart of this story and I found him such troubled and interesting character.

Without a doubt, there are very few books that are a sexually charged, as intensely lust-filled, on the verge of exploding as this one is. Wow. Well, I feel kind if like I did after finishing. This Man. I'm kind of shell shocked, and if I think about it too much, I'm a little afraid for the heroine. I'm also so caught up in the intense insanity, I know I'm overlooking thinks that would usually bother me.

The first half of the book. Just, wow. I've never, ever read sexual tension like that before. It was crazy. Seriously, the obsessive focused heat and tension. The build up, and up, and up... It had me yelling at the kindle for them Wow. Well, I feel kind if like I did after finishing. This Man. I'm kind of shell shocked, and if I think about it too much, I'm a little afraid for the heroine. I'm also so caught up in the intense insanity, I know I'm overlooking thinks that would usually bother me.

It had me yelling at the kindle for them to just do it already and out me out of my misery. I literally didn't care that there was little in the way of dialogue, or plot movement. Did not care. At all. I was just as wrapped up in them as they were in each other. In some ways it made sense, since it was from Brooke's POV, and I'm quite sure that getting Remy in her pants was the only thing on her mind.

Was it worth the wait? Yep. No doubt.

The second half of the book took off with a shot. Finally the issue that has been keeping the train in the station comes to light. It makes sense in hindsight, though I did not see it coming. Then we add some serious drama which exacerbates the situation, and sit back and watch the fireworks.

There is hardly a minute of the book that is light and easy. Even when Remy is at his sweetest (and he certainly has these monuments ) it barely lets you catch your breath before the obsessive possessive craziness takes over again. I loved Remy. My heart ached for him, broke for him. (view spoiler). He was so endearing. By the end of the book, I wasn't drooling over him anymore - I just wanted to cuddle him and tell him everything was going to be ok.

I was excited to see that there is going to be another book for Brooke and Remy (though this is in no way a cliffhanger) I worry about their long term future (view spoiler)

Overall, a crazy, intense, book that kept me completely engaged from beginning to end.

SIX FUCKING FANTASTIC STARS!!!! ****** Count em. SIX!
I've read a lot of alphas but this one tops them all!! Remington RIPTIDE Tate is raw, primal, hair gripping Neanderthal sex on a stick! I loved all things about remy and while I didn't agree with how he handled some parts of the end boy him and Brooke, I understood where both parties were coming from. And the sexy times with these two did not quite. When we finally got it. Holy moly donut shop it have me reaching for my BOB! Nuff said. Read this book! It's killing me waiting for book two. Ugh. I am so sick of the love at first sight bad boy with a good heart trend. This book even starts the same as other books like beautiful disaster. It is COMPLETELY irresponsible in dealing with a very real psychiatric problem , and gives an impression that " love " can solve or temper this disease. He is under no medication ...
