Failure is your only enemy. The only way up is to never look down. We succeed because we believe.

Echo Emerson used to be the popular girl in school. Dating the all star of the football team, an older brother to look up to who she worshiped, great friends to hang out with... Until one day it all changed.

Holy Crow! This book! Hands down one of the best novels I have read all summer! And I have read a lot of fantasticness!
Katie McGarry flip-flops between Noah and Echo’s POV --- both characters are in their senior year and have experienced more than a lifetimes worth of tragedies. Yes, this novel is a bit of a downer at times, but you will be pleased to know--- no messy love triangles and stupid ridiculousness amounting in loads of angst and sleepless nig

Great book 4.5 rating. This book is a coming of age novel about two people trying to work out their issues. Both Noah and Echo have had horrible things happen to them in the past. Both of them are trying to move forward beyond those issues. Echo keeps you on your toes the whole book wondering what happened. She has scars down her arms but doesn't remember the night it happened. Noah is fighting to get back his life he lost in a fire. Both are searching for "normal ". But one of my favorite lines ...more

5 Stars. I absolutely loved Pushing the Limits! A story that was intensely emotional for me to read, involving two high school seniors from broken homes coping with recent tragedy in their lives. This story is way more than a young adult romance; it has incredible staying power and had me wanting to read the next chapter in order to see what happens next. Highly recommend!

I really had no idea how to rate this one. The first half DRAGGED on!!! Then the second half picked up which helped me finish this one faster than I thought I was going to. It had all the elements to make up a great story. Obviously it is a great story, all my GR friends gushed over this one. I think I'm just gonna be in the minority and say it was alright :) ...more
