Omg!..i loved this book!! I will admit, at first, the "H"..Hawk..was almost too Uber Alpha for my taste...to the point that he came off as an overbearing arse..with scarey stalker-ish tendencies..teehee...reminded me a lot of Seth from the 1st book in Shannon McKenna's McCloud and friends series! Well, as the story went on he totally grew on me and i ended up LOVING HIM!!!...his endearments for Gwen...sweet pea..*sigh*...how he would answer her questions with just "babe."..which drove her absolu

So very good Hawk and Gwen had a a very heated yet very strange relationship. Personally it frustrated me that they waited a year and a half to start the real relationship but in the end I was happy with the way everything turned out.

I had really high expectations for this after seeing so many positive reviews, but I was a bit disappointed,
Hawk Delgado was a bit too much of a caveman for me and I couldn't get back the way he spoke. He just didn't sound very intelligent and neither did the rest of the men in the book. And I really didn't feel much for Gwen - she was a little too ditsy at times.
It was mostly enjoyable, but certainly not one of my favorites. ...more
