Light in the Shadows was definitely THE perfect conclusion to the story of Clay and Maggie.
The angst was still very heavy in this one.
I found myself worrying that things would unravel quickly for the two of them.
It seems as though everyone grew up a bit this time around, including Maggie's parents and Daniel and Rachel.
I loved these secondary characters and how they came to be such supportive people.

I have rated Find you In the Dark and Light in the Shadows together. Both books put together were 5 beautiful stars.

This is the continuation of the story of Maggie and Clay. They've grown since the end of book one and you continue to see the growth of each of their individual characters as you progress through the second half of their story.

Can't express enough how much I love this series! This is bittersweet for me. I loved Clay and Maggie and am sad to see their story end but what a great book! A. Meredith Walters did such an amazing job with this subject matter. Every obstacle and set back was on point. Nothing came easy and that's exactly how it is with this illness.
