12/13/12 - So I finished the book after I marked it DNF because I could not honestly rant as much as I was if I did not finish the book. Secretly, I was hoping that after a short break, I would actually like it.
NO, I still did not like it even after it had a nice ending. That is why I am giving it a star. It deserves something because it had a nice ending and I did like Gage. Other then that, my views have not changed. Had to recover from that 1 1/2 years of misunderstanding to a bunch of other ...more

I just started to read this and decided that I can't possibly rate this fairly.
My first thought were: "Oh wow, it should be called "Because of Low 2.0" by Abbi Glines."
The situation is almost the same. Low (BoL) and Cassi (FA) both come from an abusive home. Tyler and her deceased father are the only two people Cassidy has put her trust in for the majority of her life. She has absolutely no one else in her life, because she has never allowed anyone other ...more

I'm gonna say for me it was 3.5 stars. I'm not going to compare this to Taking Chances because that's a whole diff ball game. This one... Well I didn't understand how Gage was admitting love before he spoke the word Hello. It seemed very rushed in his falling in love on sight. Ty's many lies to Cassi pissed me off , because I expected more of a genuine friend after all those years, yes I know he was jealous but if he was really in love he would've done something, anything, before Gage was in the
