Hot Damn! I need to find myself a southern man!
Let me clear the air by saying that whatever the cover suggest, From Ashes by Molly McAdams does not have any kind of cheating involved, and that was one of my biggest concern reading this story. I'm so, so happy after finishing it, the story ends at a very positive note, and it is such a good learning experience. This is the second book I've read by Molly McAdams and one thing that I really like about her books is how she doesn't build up the book then rush the reading through the ending leave the reader wondering "what now". While this book was a heart wrenching emotional read, I found that reading this book really stressed me out. I felt like I was anticipating something really bad to happen to Gage and Cassi beside their their miscommunications and missed opportunities with one another. I love ...more
