For me, this was a middle of the road read. Ok, but nothing to write home about.

Cassidy was sweet, and only mildly irritating occasionally, and Gage couldn't have been more dedicated or loyal hero if he tried.

I was glad that there was no "real" love triangle, because honestly, they drive more than a little crazy, but the constant "misunderstandings" for two YEARS about drove me up a wall.

Hmmm what did I think about this book?

Well for starters, way too much drama! It was like reading about a soap opera. My biggest issue was how over the top it was, the going around in circles over miscommunication was astounding. All the character's had to do was have an actual conversation and everything would have been solved. Hence, just like a soap opera!

Throughout the first 50% of the book, I kept getting the urge to throw my iPad across the room because it was so blatantly obvious that Gag Hmmm what did I think about this book?

Well for starters, way too much drama! It was like reading about a soap opera. My biggest issue was how over the top it was, the going around in circles over miscommunication was astounding. All the character's had to do was have an actual conversation and everything would have been solved. Hence, just like a soap opera!

Throughout the first 50% of the book, I kept getting the urge to throw my iPad across the room because it was so blatantly obvious that Gage and Cassidy were getting played by Ty and neither of them saw it...as it happened RIGHT in front of their faces. It was like when you watch a character on a show “die in an explosion” only to have them resurface a year later alive and well (completely unbelievable).

However, I began to get less frustrated with the lack of communication during the last half of the book. My new frustration became Cassidy! She was clueless, selfish and needy as all get out. I kept trying to remind myself that she was damaged from such a horrendous childhood. However, sometimes (a lot of the time) I itched to reach through the book and punch her. I just kept shaking my head at her actions while saying REALLY?! Also, I didn’t like the fact how every guy she even met fell head over heels in love with her. It was too much and way over the top.

The whole Connor situation had me seeing red! It was completely unnecessary and just more drama. I can’t even elaborate on how much I hated that whole deal. How are you going to say that Gage is the one and only for you yet tell another man that if it wasn’t for the man you intend to marry, that you would be with him?!

I though the whole ordeal with Jesse and Isabel was just out of left field and didn’t really belong in the story. It was like the author was trying to throw as much stuff in as possible. The author could have developed fewer characters, rather than throw in as many as possible. It’s obvious quantity was more important than quality.

All of this aside, I really loved the last 25% of the booked! It wrapped up beautifully. It was only because of the last 25% of the book that I gave it 3 stars instead of 2.

Do I recommend this book? It depends on what you like…if you are all for some MAJOR drama and a happy ending, then yes, read it. If too much immature drama makes you crazy (like me) then I’d say skip this one. It definitely provokes some strong emotions!

Once I started this book I could not put it down until I was finished! I liked Molly McAdam's first book Taking Chances but LOVED From Ashes!

It tugs on your hearts strings the entire book so be prepared to go from wanting to rip your hair out to being on the verge of tears to not being able to control the huge grin on your face.

I LOVE this book so much!!! I had a rough time with the beginning only because I wanted to kill Tyler or and he mom and step dad for what they did to her. I was already in tears like 5% in just hearing what she went through. Then I said thank god for Tyler. Then Gage was brought in and I felt instant love with him so I don't find it odd that Cassi did!
