Another fabulous book by Michelle Leighton! Can't tell you how much I loved this one!

Cash, mmmmm love him! I was rooting for him in the odd Cash/Nash/Liv love triangle... Dot want to give anything away, but I have to say what happened in this book really threw me for a loop! Totally did not see that coming! That doesn't happen to me very often!

Wow! Where to begin?

I went into this book blind...and I got double the pleasure baby! From Page 1, M. Leighton's intriguing tale captures your attention. It was so unexpectedly refreshing and so awesomely yummy. I know, I'm not making sense right now...but this book has literally managed to get me so worked up that I'm not able to form coherent sentences. Yes, it's that good!

He makes me feel twitchy. Squirmy. Warm.

(Slight update on the rating - after much discussion, I begrudgingly had to realize that I downgraded other books for some of the same infractions that occurred in this book. Therefore, as an effort to level the playing field, it is now 4 stars, however, still worth it.)

I wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did but I really LIKED it!

The author didn't waste any time getting into the story. This is my first book by M. Leighton, but now I know I'll read more. I wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did but I really LIKED it!

The author didn't waste any time getting into the story. This is my first book by M. Leighton, but now I know I'll read more. Especially because "Down to You" has a cliff hanger. Even if it didn't, there are still lots of ends that I would like to see tied up and I can't wait to see how it happens. Loose ends with Marissa, the Mob, Taryn, and of course Nash, Cash and Olivia. I didn't know this wasn't a stand alone book when I started reading it, and that was slightly disappointing because I don't like waiting for sequels, (which at this point I have no clue when it will be released), and also because I wasn't anticipating having to wait while reading the book. I'm also relieved there is more to the story and that's because I don't like being left hanging and I wasn't done with these characters yet.

I don't want to go into the plot because I think the book description sums it up pretty well...except it leaves out all the details, which is a good thing because there is a twist. I was a little leery of the love triangle thing, not because I don't like love triangles (I'm pretty ambivalent towards them), but because I was afraid the story was going to veer into a back and forth of "who should I be with, which one should I choose?" in whiny voice ad nauseam. This is what usually makes up a love triangle, but I didn't want that to be the focal point of this story, nor did I want it to continue for most of the book because for Pete's sake, Cash and Nash are BROTHERS!, and that's just gross! How could Olivia justify a continued back and forth to the brothers when they found out, or to the readers who (in my case) only give a few free passes before wanting to throw the kindle to the wall? Think Kiera and Kellan in Thoughtless, which I loved by the way, but I was ready to strangle Kiera by the end. Ok, maybe I'm not as ambivalent towards love triangles as I thought. However, before the story devolved into this, the plot thickens and there's a twist. I won't spoil it for everyone, but I will say I did figure it out before the big "reveal".

I read this book in a day, which I appreciated because the author didn't waste time on superfluous descriptive details of scenery or over the top monologues, although make no mistake she doesn't make you miss them either. You get a break from ruts because of the alternate viewpoints, so you get just enough reflection from the characters without slowing down the story. I also appreciated the author's ability to write some very steamy scenes. She doesn't go overboard and write too many (although there are PLENTY), and she also doesn't unnecessarily draw them out (which can get boring and overshadow the story).

Definitely worth a read and looking forward to book number 2. ...more

What a great story,]now i did read this book in almost 1 whole day but that is what i do when I'm really into a book! (plus i have been stuck at home with the flu)
Please tell me there is more to come?
the whole book i was cheering for Cash! I hated Nash! (maybe that's the side of me that's drawn to bad boys!) but i got a feeling half way through the book that something was going on. and BAM! It now all makes sense!

That was a very enjoyable book. I kind of figured out the twist half way through, but that's alright. Loved Cash and Nash. Olivia was an enjoyable leading lady. Understand her insecurities cuz in the past i too was a bad boy magnet. Just one teensy little criticism for the author. Before revealing the twist I wish she would have dove into Cash's anger more about her being attracted to Nash, u know what I mean (without giving anything away). Wasn't expecting the epilogue though, but I was think ...more
