I woke up this morning excited because it is my birthday and my friends were reading the book I picked out.
There were parts in the book that had me laughing. I'm pretty sure I woke me husband up laughing.

Update to Readers.....
I read this a second time yesterday and having read it through the first time and gulping it down like a sweet, delicious dessert that I barely had time to taste, I enjoyed this even more the second time! Of course, my perspective was different for the second review and I was still crushed to realize I have to wait for the next book to be released.
Thoroughly enjoyed this the second time and highly recommend it to all readers!

I have to be honest and say that I did not want to pick up this book and read it. I read Blood Like Poison: For the Love a Vampire by M. Leighton and thought it was okay. The writing in Blood Like Poison was average. However, a lot of people were giving Down to You good reviews and I thought I would give it a try. Maybe Blood Like Poison was M. This was an intriguing story...I have to say taht about 50% thru I figured out the deal. Not exactly the why, but the what......At any rate, this was an enjoyable read. Again...another book with a sequil coming, so the wait for the rest of the story. I hate waiting for sequils, especially when I did not know the book was in a series to begin with, but honestly this book would feel incomplete without one, so yet again I will be adding this to my long list of "waiting on sequils" series !

"Down to You" was a great book. I love that the author told the story from each character's point of view. I was not prepared for the book to end the way it did, and i'm looking forward to the release of book 2.

great story, I saw the twist by just reading the back cover but it made it even more enjoyable to read!
Holy shitballs I'm in love with Cash.... Mmm yummmm. Story was great.. Didn't expect the twist.... And sooooo looking forward to the next one! Couldn't put it down

This was nice steamy short read. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was because SOME of the situation came off a little too far fetched. I am hoping for a sequel tho, I really have more questions than answers.
