Ok I will start off with I loved Cash/Nash. The sexual tension was awesome one stage it felt like I could rip his clothes off haha. The bathroom scene was hot! And then the secret came out and I didn't know how I felt about Cash/Nash...

I am going to be completely honest and admit that I didn't even read the blurb for this book before reading. The cover spoke to me so I put it on my list to read. The story line was not quite what I was expecting, in fact, it was better than I expected. There was scorching romance, a little angst and a surprise that I did not see coming (I have been told others picked up on this from the blurb but I did not! I think I liked it better because I didn't know.).

Olivia is a relatively quiet farm girl I am going to be completely honest and admit that I didn't even read the blurb for this book before reading. The cover spoke to me so I put it on my list to read. The story line was not quite what I was expecting, in fact, it was better than I expected. There was scorching romance, a little angst and a surprise that I did not see coming (I have been told others picked up on this from the blurb but I did not! I think I liked it better because I didn't know.).

Olivia is a relatively quiet farm girl who is attending school in the city so she can return to her small town and help on the family farm. I liked that she was not agreeable and was not afraid to speak her mind. It was clear that she did not see herself as the beautiful woman who others saw her; her modesty only made her more appealing. If I had one thing I did not like about her, it would be the ease at which she fell into a love triangle and her lack of concern over some situations (sorry I cannot elaborate on this more without spoiling a couple of parts).

Cash is HOT, cocky, slightly arrogant and overall amazing. One minute he could be a bossy, control freak who went for and got what he wanted and the next he was completely sweet and generous, helping Olivia when she was in sticky situations. I really liked Cash but then I always seem to lean toward the bad boys;)

Nash was smart, successful, safe and everything Olivia thought she needed. I liked him and I thought he and Olivia could be good together but he is dating Olivia's cousin. I questioned his motives and his morals when he pursued Olivia while still dating Marisa but he was such a likeable guy, I let him off the hook. I had trouble holding his relationship with Marisa against him since she is a selfish snob.

Olivia is fighting her own inner demons that have been inserted in her head after dating all the wrong guys. They burn her and leave her heartbroken and for that reason, she has a hard time letting go and giving her heart away. This book was just as much about letting go of misconceptions from the past as it was about finding the right guy. I ended up liking Cash and Nash for different reasons and, therefore, I was ultimately happy with who she ended up with (not telling, sorry!).

I usually do not talk about love scenes in great detail *blush* but I loved the way M. Leighton wrote her love scenes in this book. They were not too much or too little but enough to connect me to the characters and the passion and chemistry that was between them. I thought they were really well written.

This is part of a three book series from what I understand and the epilogue left on a suspenseful cliffhanger. I need book 2 now and I have a feeling that this is going to become a little bit of a suspense romance type series which I love when done well. Bring it on M. Leighton!

Well this book was just plain fun and a pleasant surprise! It was a super quick read with really likable characters. Olivia was witty and sarcastic and called it like it is. She kept things interesting without doing the whole "I really want you and you know we're gonna have sex but I"m gonna listen to my head instead of my heart and play ridiculously hard to get" thing--which is a refreshing change from just about every other female character I've been reading these days. This book left me hanging and wanting more. One minute I was rooting for Cash and another minute Nash! They are both amazing characters. And the twist?? WOW. I didn't see that coming at all. Favorite part in the book (the bathroom scene) HOT. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE!

4.5 Stars. Really enjoyed this adult contemporary romance by M. Leighton! It was flirtatious, fun and sexy. Olivia has always been one to fall head-over-heels for the "bad boy" type, and seems to always end up hurt in relationships with them. OMG such a great book!! Hot twins need I say more? I really enjoyed reading it- I read it in less than two days!! Olivia is pretty, funny and knows how to hold her own! Dear M. Leighton.

I need to first commend you on bringing a story that I didn't see coming. Obviously you and other readers of Down to You know exactly what I mean, but anyway, consider me blindsided.

You left me bird seeds closer to figure it out but for the most part... I was too engrossed in who will she choose? Who would I choose? What if they find out?

Secondly? I don't like that there's not a GRs page for the Down to You sequels. Please fix this, so I can mark them as TO READ. I'd also love ...more
