Five+ Stars!!

I think I'm in love...not with Dan, the amazing man in this book (though he's great too...) but with this author, Megan Hart. Her talent for delving into the human soul is truly amazing. In Broken, she destroyed my preconceptions and bias, just ripped me apart and somehow managed to make it all better. Now in Dirty, she's once again making me question my beliefs and convictions.

This book was so amazing.

After reading the synopsis of this book, I already thought I knew what was going to happen. How this book was going to pan out... Boy was I wrong!

This storyline had me enthralled from the very first page, to the very end. Ms Hart was very slowly, but cleverly slotting in little hints to Elle's past, things that left me constantly trying to fiugure out what the hell had happened to Elle?

Wow, really great book! It was not what I expected it to be, but even better. This author really knows how to write. I really loved the characters and it was an emotional story. I really felt for Elle, and Dan was amazing man to put up with her secrets and continue to stay with her. The only thing that would have made me happier would be a longer epilogue :-) I will definitely read more from this author.

Wow, this book was a pretty intense and emotional read and I loved it.

At first I didn't get Elle and found her a bit cold, and some of the things she did and decisions she made frustrated me.

When I realised she had put up pretty huge walls that would take more than a sledgehammer to break down, I got her and what an amazing character she was.

I liked this way more than Broken. Broken was just so sad. Dirty is sad too but has hope. I loved how Wayne would not give up on Elle regardless of how much she pushed him away or blocked him out. Elle's issues were not easy and I love how this author provided struggles that I didn't see coming. I will be reading more from this author. ...more
