This story is sweet, hot, suspenseful, and SHOCKING.

Dahlia London is a beautiful girl who's been with the same guy since high school. On one girl's night out, she met a gorgeous guy in the bar whom she felt connected to. Dahlia was a mess for a long time until the day she met River Wilde again in Las Vegas to do a photo style interview, as a favor for Aerie. The two instantly reconnected and fell into a passionate, sweet, and scorching hot romance.

I found this story to be engaging. There were a lot of scenes that made me smile because River Wilde is the sweetest, most thoughtful, book boyfriend ever. He loved Dahlia like no other and does everything to care for her and to protect her and to make her happy. Dahlia is sweet, playful, and is totally made for River. Their connection is solid and both do everything to make the other feel very loved and cared for. I'm happy that Dahlia was able to open up to River after she's experienced losing her family as a child and her fiancee when he was killed in front of her. River is very understanding and puts Dahlia's needs before his, never questioning her reasons because of her past and just always supporting her in everything.

The story doesn't only talk about how River and Dahlia grow in love more and more as time goes by but there is also an underlying suspense that is happening-- with Dahlia's old house being ransacked and Ben's journals all torn apart. There is obviously something fishy going on and it is later revealed in a SHOCKING EPILOGUE.

With that, I CANNOT WAIT FOR TORN. October seems like it's so far and that cliffhanger was HUGE. I cannot wait to see how Dahlia and River will cope with this huge reveal coming up. I sincerely hope that this will only make their connection and love for one another MUCH STRONGER and not tear them apart (this would kill me).

3 Stars is generous in my opinion right now.

I started reading this book as a misconception that this was going to be soulmates finding each other after tragedy. I thought, "Oh fluffy cotton-candy read!"

I was wrong. There is mystery involved with this book. Plus, a awful cliffy. There is deceit here. I wonder about what the author is trying to pull here. I'm concerned book two is going to move beyond my angst-dar. I can only take so much angst and after reading the end of this book my heart is b ...more

Stayed up to 1am reading cause I knew the ending was going to be an exciting cliffhanger. I should have gone to bed.....will read the next book just to see what happens.
