How many times are we going to be sold the same books with different covers. All the New Adult is starting to read the same. These newcomers don't really have anything new to offer. My mind is still kind of spinning after reading Connected, and honestly, I’m not sure what to make of all of it. I would say that for the majority of the story, I wavered between a 3 and 4 star read. Then, at other times, it had some 5 star elements for me. Talk about being confused! 4 stars ... because by the end the twist had me interested and the cliffhanger was big enough that I'll be reading the sequel. The rest of the book was missing something for me though - I just couldn't get connected to it, no pun intended. I didn't really feel Dahl and Ben's relationship - I wanted to feel more strongly about things when the "event" occurs. Why am I always late to the party? I knew that Connected had great reviews, my friends loved it, so why the hell did I wait so long to finally read it? I am kicking myself but so glad that I finally found the time to show up.
