Gitte: First of all I have to say I love this cover, it is one of the best I’ve seen is a while and the connection between the couple on there is incredibly intense. Secondly I think it is really easy to spoil this story for prospective readers so I won’t go into too many details as it should be read with new and fresh eyes.

I waited until book two was out because is heard about the massive cliffy - and I'm glad I did - because damn- it was a big one. I had guessed all sorts of things (and I did get parts right) but that one big twist - I did not see that coming.

I really enjoyed the book overall. I loved River and Dahlia. This was definitely a unique storyline, which is rare, and always a great surprise.

Okay so this book was hard for me to rate. Part of me wanted to give it 5 stars due to the ending and basically the last 25% but I settled on 4 stars due to the other 75%. The whole book was really good, however I had a hard time connecting to the story at first.

I think this comes from the fact that Dahlia is dating Ben and she has been in love with him for years. In the beginning of the book it talks about her relationship with Ben. It mentions been be very jealous, possibly having an affair o Okay so this book was hard for me to rate. I think this comes from the fact that Dahlia is dating Ben and she has been in love with him for years. In the beginning of the book it talks about her relationship with Ben. It mentions been be very jealous, possibly having an affair or about to (view spoiler) being really into himself. I never really saw the appeal to Ben. He was really into his work as a journalist and they didn't seem to connect that much to me. Dahlia on Halloween goes out with her friend Aerie and meets River Wilde. They share an intense connection but she leaves because she loves Ben.

Then things take a few twist and turns. I wanted to have more dialog between some of the characters. It felt like there were a lot of sex scenes which is totally fine, but I wanted more. Since they were so close I wanted to see what made them that way.

The ending was crazy good! And I couldn't wait for more then it ended! I can't wait for book 2.

I have to put this in here because the next book Torn comes out in Fall of 2013 and I want to remember what happens before I read the next one.

This book has my heart. It's perfect, really :)

I love Dahlia and River's love. I understand Ben and Dahlia and I appreciate that they've know each other since they were 5 and how that kind of relationship could transpire. It was easy, sweet and seemed like it was right at the time. The tragedy that takes place tugged at my heartstrings because let's face it, we've all suffered loss at one time or another...but after Dahlia's healing process over a long period of time I so enjoyed her journey bac ...more

Although this isn't a perfectly written book, it was perfect for me – story wise. But the problem of typos and incorrect word usage in the framing of sentences raises its ugly head – nothing a good edit could prevent (I’m not talking spell check), and then my little rant would be unnecessary.
