I so wanted to love this book, I really did.

I did start out enjoying it. The opening couple of chapters hooked me in and I was feeling a connection to Emily as we join her in her move to New York where she is making a fresh start following the death of her mother.

These initial scenes drew me in and I was feeling for Emily at this point and thought, here it is, I’m going to love this girl and love this story. She’s independent, compassionate, sweet and came across quite strong at this juncture of ...more

Without a doubt I would give this one 5+ Stars.

"Collide" is stunning and superb! Best I've read in a long time. And because the author leaves us with a major cliffhanger, I think the best is yet to come!! The second book, "Pulse" is scheduled for release Summer of 2013.

Wow this book is really hard to review without giving anything away.

I really LOVE this book. When the book started Emily moved from her home in Colorado to NY to be with her boyfriend Dillon after her mom passed away. She feels Dillon is a wonderful boyfriend because he helped her take care of finances and arrangments when her mom passes.

Emily isn't ready to move in with Dillon just yet so she moves in with her old high school roommate Olivia (whom I absolutely adore). Olivia however doesn't li Wow this book is really hard to review without giving anything away.

I really LOVE this book. When the book started Emily moved from her home in Colorado to NY to be with her boyfriend Dillon after her mom passed away. She feels Dillon is a wonderful boyfriend because he helped her take care of finances and arrangments when her mom passes.

Emily isn't ready to move in with Dillon just yet so she moves in with her old high school roommate Olivia (whom I absolutely adore). Olivia however doesn't like Dillon. Her brother Trevor is best friends with him. Olivia adds a lot of comedic relief to this book and I just love her. She is no non-sense and she tells it how it is. She is a great friend to Emily.

Emily wants to be a teacher but until she can find a job she works at a restaurant. On her way out on her first day her boss ask her to drop off a delivery. There she meets the very good looking Gavin. He immediately sees her and is attracted to her. From the moment he see's her he can't stop thinking about her. So he stops by her work. She is equally attracted to him though she doesn't want to be because she has Dillon.

Dillon has been taking clients out almost every night since Emily moved to NY and to me he treats her like a trophy wife. Also telling her what she can and can't wear and telling everyone how beautiful his girlfriend is. Dillon and Emily go out one night and it turns out Gavin is really good friends with Emily and then all the drama starts.

She is torn between the "loving" guy who takes care of her and the guy she feels connected to. Dillon seems to have some shady secrets of his own and I dilike him a lot! While Gavin is perfect in every sense of the word. I don't want to give anything away because I think everyone should read this book.

I loved it so much and I am anxiously awaiting the next with the way this book ended. I have to add a spoiler that tells a lot so be warned. I have to put this here so when I re-read this before the next book comes out and remember what happened.

I have mixed feelings about this one....I wish she could have spiced up this love story somehow...it didn't feel REAL to me...Emily was too caught up & concerned about Dillon's feelings all through the book...and poor Gavin chasing her around....her love for Gavin didn't seem strong enough to me...like she didn't deserve all his attention....& don't get me started on the cliffhanger ending.....wtf????? I might give "Pulse" a chance just to see Gavin make her suffer...LOL...Hey...she hurt him pre ...more
