I was really surprised with Charade. I went in thinking it would be the usual college romance between counter opposite couple with some pretending, and flirting, but I was shocked with how serious, and emotional the story turned out to be.

Charade is one of those book that touches you in a way you can't even explain. It was such an great book that if I tell you anything about it, it would feel like I spoiled something good. So I'll keep this review short and simple,

This was a fantastic book. This book appealed to everything I enjoy in a book: a couple that tries to resist falling in love, a badass H that becomes vulnerable for his woman, a damaged h that isn't whiny and annoying, a tale of opposites attract and a romance that I believed in.

The H and h come together under unusual circumstances. There was no whining, no prolonged angst, no stupid misunderstandings. Just two people that "shouldn't" be together but end up falling for each other anyway. I love ...more

I really enjoyed this book. I cried a lot more than I thought I would. I love it when you can feel the emotions between the characters and I definitely felt the growing feelings between Colt and Cheyenne. It was a very sweet love story and wonderfully written!
