I really really liked this book.

I think the thing I liked most was that it took something that on the surface I would not be comfortable with (a gang of sexually uninhibited members who get it on in lots and lots of different combinations) and turned into something, almost beautiful. It get it. I get them. I get why they are they way they are, why it works.

The only thing I knew going into this book was that it was diiiirty! It was - oh, it was. : )

There are three-somes, four-somes, F/F, exhibitionism, toys, spankings, and that's just Tuesday! (kidding - but only about the Tuesday part - the rest is totally true)

I thought this book was a solid start to a new series. The world building is set up very smoothly without any large info dumps.

This is the first time in a long time I enjoyed a little smut.

Yes, the sex scenes were cliched, but the dystopian nature made it interesting. The world-building wasn't that good, but it was still entertaining.

This book is so much more than an erotic dystopian novel!

Noelle lives in the city of Eden, a technologically advanced haven in a dystopian world where women know their place, to find a husband to serve and all things considered 'sinful' are forbidden. Caged in this totalitarian society Noelle seeks to rebel by consuming illegal moonshine and attempting to fornicate. Her rebellion soon ends with Noelle being exciled out of Eden into the sectors, a harsh place where no young women is safe 4.5 Stars

Saved by Jasper of the O'Kane gang, producers of illegal alcohol and the unconvential rulers of sector six, Noelle finds herself thrust into a world where everything she has been taught about faith and sin is turned around. The O'Kane gang are not afraid to explore their vices, consuming the product they produce and holding infamous sex parties.

Noelle is all to ready to embrace this new found freedom.

This book is an erotic dystopian romance. However it was so much more than that. This book is a tale of sexual awakening, but moreover it explores the ideas of sexuality and the idea of considering something dirty. For the O'Kanes sex is a pleasure, it isn't dirty, it is real and it represents freedom and hope. This is contrasted against what Noelle has been taught in Eden, sex is dirty and sinful. Kit Rocha takes the ideas of menage, ff, exhibitionism and anything erotic and makes them beautiful, a reflection of rebellion against the totalatarian society.

"She'd have to give up everything to belong to him- her secrets, her body, her shame."

Jasper was beautiful. He took it upon himself to teach these ideas to Noelle, to help her find herself and to help her understand that embracing her sexuality is not something to feel guilty about and it is not something that should be labelled as dirty, disrespectful and degrading. It was down right amazing :)

I enjoyed all the characters in this novel. The men of the O'Kane gang are strong, but protective of each other. I loved the whole idea of family in this novel, the idea of looking out for each other in the dark world that they have been born into. Similarily the females are no different, they don't bow under the power of these overprotective men, but don't just strive but are allowed to express their freedom.
I loved the backstory with Lexie and Dallas just made me hunger for the next book as I think their story is going to be a wild one.

Ultimately Kit Rocha have written a story that is complex in its exploration of sexual awakening and the freedom that it can represent, particularly in a controlling society that looks upon it as sin. ...more

The only thing that is keeping me from just giving it two stars (saying it's just 'Okay') is the fact that the writing about the sex acts is HOT! But, there is almost NO story whatsoever. There are elements, but I would have liked to have known more of the politics, the fighting between sectors the seeping of something sinister into their lives, into their relationships. Maybe someone who loves Jas and wants to put a wedge between he and Noelle or vice versa. The story just ...more
