This was such an awesome first book in a dark world of magic and cheerleaders! I'm so excited to continue Harper's journey as she finds out the answers that even I'm dying to know. She was such a great character, misunderstood and different. But she had heart and just wanted to fit into Peachville High when all her other homes she felt out of place. I can't wait to see more of the characters and learn their secrets!

Was a surprising read and a good series opener you are left with quite a few questions as to what is really going on such as why can't Harper remember anything having to do with hottie Jackson and how did her opinion on cheerleading change so drasticly and what is a Prima? Those are only a few of the questions tat I want answered.

Definitely a 4.5 and I'm not sure what is stopping me from lighting that 5th star this time around. This time knowing where everything is leading I should light the fifth star. The book is engaging, the characters very likable, and there is enough of a story line that keeps you guessing "what the heck is going on here?" Every time you t ...more

I'm going to be honest in saying, I was hesitant about this book. It just didn’t seem like something I would read and I didn’t connect with the cover, or the story line... Basically it was... “Not my style.” After Lindy recommended it to me several times, I knew I had to dive in. This a fast paced read where one moment your on page 10 then you only have 10 pages left. Once I was done I thought to myself, WOAH! I didn't see that coming! Lol. With me thats saying a lot! I was pretty hooked right a

I wasn't sure what to expect of this one right out of the gates. I had heard it was about "evil cheerleaders" and thought to myself...hmmm, how bad can it really be?This book was a whirlwind of activity from the beginning.
