I'll love you longer than the stars that live in the sky
What a beautiful unforgettable story ❤️
This is a story about war and the cost of sacrifice. Where bonds are formed, and friendships found. Where those who are strong, fall hard. Where love is let go, heartache is born, and heroes are made. Where one man learns that the hardest fight of all, is the fight to save himself.

★★★ ! Wow, this book blew me away. It had everything an amazing book should have.
The love story was epic. The angst was on the highest level. The plot was touching and moving. It was filled with great quotes.
And it broke my heart. Which I love when a book does. Especially when it has a hea. But for me something was missing for it to be a solid 5 stars read. Still, it was one of my absolute favorite reads this year, and ever. I highly recommend it to everyone who is searching for a great romance ...more

What if love wasn't enough for them? Would it heal the deep lacerations life had placed on his heart, or would he always be so completely broken that he would never fully be hers?
Every once in awhile a book touches my heart; slowly, gently and beautifully. It wraps itself around me while whispering its captivating love story in my ear. And when it is done with me, it leaves its mark on my soul. Fighting Redemption was one such book, and I am so pleased to have another author to add to my favouri ...more

First of all I want to say that I admire an author for putting themselves out there and writing a book. It takes a lot of work and you honestly don't know how your story is going to be received. With that being said. I am in the minority here. I couldn't get into this book. I never felt like I connected with the characters. I think that is because it was written in third person. I am not a fan of that writing style. Once I figured out how it was written I wasn't going to read it but then I recei

So, as it turns out, Fighting Redemption was my first experience reading a Kate McCarthy book. It seems I couldn’t have picked a better one to start with. This book really impressed me. A lot. It was emotional, sexy, sad, happy–it really covered every feeling you could have. This is a story about soul mates, in every sense of the word. What brings them together, what pushes them apart, and the lives they lead as a result.

wowowowowowow this was every bit as good as expected!
the protagonists reminded me a lot of "tweet" from "present perfect", what with their determination to not be with each other and all. regardless of their somewhat martyr nature, it worked. big time. i loved it. it was gooooooood :D
it was a tearjerker, that's for sure. i mean something happened, and it was past midnight when i got to that point, and i started bawling. sobbing. loud angry tears. i felt gutted. and that is exactly how you know y ...more
