I really liked the first book but this one really moved slowly to me and it was at times hard to get through.
The ending was good and exciting but the beginning and middle felt like it drag on.
With that said I am looking forward to the next book.

I absolutely loved this book. It was incredibly moving and tells how easily power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is also realistic in showing how two people react to changes and how it affects a relationship. Our heroine had been in the shadows for a long time, but mal is also afraid of what changes is doing to her. Loved the new characters! Delightful! Can't wait for the next installment....

Why do I love the bad guy?.. I want him to become the good guy and become THE GUY...sigh I am always left wanting lol...its a good read I recommend it!
