I'm not sure what prompted me to give this four stars. I think it was that Annah really depressed me more than Mary and then Gabry. I loved her story, but I feel like the ending came up abruptly and then it was over. There was something about this one... In The Dead Tossed Waves, I got so attached to Gabry and Elias that at first I could have cared less about Annah's story. She pissed me off because she was always feeling so bad for herself.
