Excuse the pun, but it took me "forever" to finish this book. I skimmed the last half of this book and was still able to keep up perfectly fine. I just couldn't get over how dull everything was. Here they are, faced with possible destruction, and nothing seemed to be happening. I somehow hate myself for not giving this a better rating from the rest of the series. The story was tad bit slower and I know everybody wasn't expecting that kind of ending or I think some already thought differently. I was actually thinking that this book would turn out to be a bittersweet but I still hope it didn't but the book, the story and the characters are just to love for. ...more

Overall I really enjoyed the series. I think each book in the series was better than the last. I did not like the ending. The whole third book is building up to a possible cure. At the last page I turned to the next expecting to see the ending and was disappointed. However, I love this series!
