Shelves: favorites, read-it-to-shreds

I can remember sitting at my second grade desk (2nd row from the right, 3rd seat) when I first started to read this book.

That's how powerfully this book impressed me.

This strong sense-memory makes me believe that reading PETER PAN was the first time I recognized something in a book that was different from mere story-telling. Ik geef dit boek eigenlijk 3,5 sterren. Ik had weinig moeite om erdoorheen te komen.
De personen die in dit boek voorkomen zijn vrij duidelijk qua persoonlijkheid. Je kan bijna bij elke persoon die erin voorkomt wel een persoon in je omgeving vinden.
Deze versie is bewerkt en volgt zoveel mogelijk het boek uit 1911.
Op sommige momenten vond ik het verhaal vrij vrouw-onvriendelijk.

Het idee om altijd jong te zijn of te willen zijn zoals peter pan is natuurlijk aantrekkelijk. Maar de nadelen hieraan ...more

The story of Peter Pan, narrated by Jim Dale, what could be better? I love this story and Jim Dale just adds to it with his unique narration style and the voices he uses for each character. Love this edition.
