What Members Thought
Recommended to anybody loving the current spate of ancient Greek myth/epic retellings. Especially recommended to anybody who, like me, always confused Ariadne and Andromeda. Abandoned on island vs abandoned on rocks; Theseus vs Perseus; Minotaur vs Kraken . . .
Just because it's a retelling of Greek mythology where the female characters are given more agency and interiority doesn't automatically turn into a good, feminist story. Hugely disappointing.
