After finishing the first book, I enjoyed it so much, I downloaded this one. I loved going from one book to the next, with the same characters, having the story fresh in my mind. And this book continued on with the "Grimm Curse" that Mina has to endure.
Her best friend Nan is still along side her, as well as Brody, the love from the first book. Only problem? There's no memory of their relationship from the first adventure. Everyones memory was wiped out after the quest was finished... so Mina is ...more

Really liked this novel. I usually don't purchase e-books but I really wanted to follow up after Unenchanted. It does a really good job of incorporating fairy tales into the novel. Loved that Mina was not given the heroine role in this fairy tale quest and the new relationship issues with Brody and Jared. Can't wait for the new installment.

Very, very good! I am very happy with these books Chanda Hahn did a good job once you realize it's narrated and first person you are good to go! Very addictive reads! The end of this book leaves me satisfied yet eager for the next installment! :)

Not disappointed in the 2nd book of this series at all. In fact, I can't wait for the third to be released. Continues to add layers to the central characters and plot that kept me totally interested.

Book two of the series is dark but so are the Grimm tales. More main characters are revealed and a new tone is set for book three. I can't wait.

Loved this one even more than the first.
Yes, there were slow parts, but the last quarter of this story was amazing. I'm really looking forward to the next book. ...more

Another enjoyable story. Poor Mina. I know she can do it and I'm glad Jared is there to help her.

YA Fairytale Spinoff. Loved the ending to this book, which brought my rating up to 3.5 stars. This isn't a stand alone book, you'd really have to read Unenchanted first. I felt the story got a bit repetitive and bogged down in the first half, but there are a couple of great twists in the last half that make it a worthwhile read. And it's so nice to have a new idea for the YA genre, not the standard vampire, werewolf, witch or dystopia story. As much as I love happy endings, the heartbreak and em

I like where the author went with this. I liked that even the "good guy" isn't always. I enjoyed the idea of the books... both the Story and its kinder half. I have no idea what is up with Ever. I liked the twist at the end of the book. This is one of those books that I think the author really had a solid sequal. I think in some aspects it was even better than the first. Perhaps Hahn was more comfortable in capturing this one and knew exactly where she wanted to take it? I can't wait to see what

Although I was starting to get a bit irritated at Mina for not understanding what was happening (it should have seemed obvious), I was very glad that she finally got it at the end! Normally the 2nd book of a series never seems to do as well but I'd say this one delivered and then some. I can NOT wait for the next one to come out! I can't stop thinking about the characters in this book and the world the author created. I love it!

This was a solid follow-up to Unenchanted. It didn't have as much of the humor that delighted me in the first installment, but I really enjoyed seeing more of Mina's best friend, Nan, and I enjoyed how her part played out in the book. Very unexpected. I continue to love how Chanda Hahn spins her fairy tale retellings. They're very fun and contemporary. Looking forward to reading Fable.
